these are my good friends from next door and of course my sisterthe little one. this is us on a old stone bridge at a park

we made cookies and then asked the girls to decerate them. then we ate them at the park

we were supposed to wait till lunch
this is me and my friend kit we were going to a costume party/volley ball game. My coach said I was the most improved player at the clinic. I was proud.

the heart and the Revolutionary War

I made a diorama of the battle of lexington and concord. the blue men are supposed to be the rebels/ patriots, and the red are the redcoats or british soldiers. Really these are policemen and firemen we got from the dollar store. in teh background you can see Paul Revere riding away in teh distance to warn folks.

Halloween

me and my dad had fun carving the pumpkinmy little sis loved halloween cause itwas just like go around and ask
people for free candy. I am Aphrodite the greek goddess of love and my sis is a chicken but she says she is a duck.

this is me and my good friend aimee. she was cleopatra and I was aphrodite. behind us is her grandma. we always go to her house at halloween.

Washington DC

last week we went to washington DC. It was super fun! I enjoyed seeig all my family. sencewe did'nt have a car there we rode the metro exsept me and my cousin gabe called it the subway because we thout it sonded cooler to say to people. my favorite part was seeing the arckives and the lincoln memorial was pretty cool too. we got to also go to all the war memorials which in some caseswas realy sad but interesting to see and learn about. we went to alot of meuseems all of them I loved! it worked out perfectly because in homeschool I was learning about the revalutionary war and I finished that subject the day before we left.

On Monday, we went to williamsburg which was super cool because I just got a doll from there. It was super fun. We saw the goveners palace and alot of old timey stores, resteraunts, carradges and houses. there were alot of people there in costumes it was fun to see ll the people and places. all the grand children got a hat even charli!

news paper

last week my class had a women come in from the gazzete to talk to us about journalism it was very helpful for me and the rest or the news paper commitee which my mom set up for the classes. It was very interesting to heer about all the articles she had writen and she told us about part of the news paper that we could write for. my mom said that we could go to the news paper meating that the women told us about. It was aspetily interesting for me mostly beacuse I wan't to be a pearson who works for the news paper too.

pumpkin patch

me and my friend cole went to the pumpkin patch last wendsday. It was so fun!!! We picked black berys to but there werent many and the apple trees had frozen that winter so we could'nt pick any but we did buy some.

since there weren't alot of berries, me and cole rallied over them to try to get every last one.

we all got a pumpkin-- even chari. She got this pumpkin but when we got home charli droped her pumpkin so now it has a big split on the back of it so no one could see the crack

Little Women Party

I went to a little women party at my frinds house after all of us had read the book. We all loved it! We all pretended to be one of the girls in the story and wrote articles for the "picwic papers" ( which the girls wrote in the book). WE dressed up like the carectores which is what we're doing in the picture above.

these are my friends Ellie and Bethany. They're great friends and we're going to the pumpin patch together on Friday . I am so exsited!

Their mom made snacks that were like the ones in the book. They were dilishis! we all had a great time and talked and played the whole time.

Mayflower chapter 2

It is has been one month since our arrival to teh new world. Me and Annibel are helping mama plant some crops. Hopefully in a few months we can harvest them. I miss home. I miss England adn my friends there. but I also love it her ein teh new world and so does annibel.

two weeks ago a tall Indian came to our village- his name is squanto. He is very kind and offered to help us. We are trying to build a more permanent house, but the progress isn't going well. right now we are sleeping on the ground in a straw shelter. Even though it isn't the coziest of places, annibell adn I are learning to like it.

In homeschool, we're learning about the Pilgrims and theMayflower. Here a story I started--

I watched the waves role in and out as I silently knited in the corner of the cramped boat waiting and watching for somthing to happen-- anything. Then all of the sudden I herd someone from up on deck say LAND HO! Could it really be true was our waiting over have we reached the new world? I ran to get papa, mama and anabell. "Mama," Papa I shouted. "What is it Elisebeth," said Papa. "We've reached the world!" I blurted out. "Really?" said Papa. I just herd Captain Jones. "Well, what are we waiting for, lets go see our new home." said Mom! It felt so good to step on solid land. But I immediately new our adventure had only begun...

freckles

Well fourth grade has started and I am off to a good start with my homeschool adventures. I love homeschool exsept when me and my mom have to much time together, Which is why I go the homeschool acadamy one day a week. I play volley with my friend Kit witch I love but a few days ago I fell on some rocks and spranded my ankle and had to go to the doctor to get it checked out the found a small ckrack in this bone so I went to the doctor again today and I have to where a brace so I can't play volley boll for half the time . I love misty may and I hope to be as good as her one day. I love waching the her play in the Olympics with Kari Walsh.

I have two next door neghbors named Emily and Elisibeth. I play with them almost every sacond of everyday. they have a six year old brother named Andres. they moved here about a year ago from argentina so they speek flewent spanish and english so half of the time when there talking to there mom I don't know what there saying.

I have a little sister called charli exsep she calls herself cookie. My mom says shes in the terrible twos, and I think thats true she's pretty noddy but she can be really sweat to rarly though. Charli has club foot and gos to Physical thirapy but is geting along awsome we are so glad she can walk. she tries to run but acasionaly falls down but always gets up. Today she bit my mom and then we noticest that she is teething and just wanted to bite somthing. So she's been chewing on her toothbrush. Little sisters can be a bother.
